In 2020 Welsh Government tasked Public Health Wales and Digital Health & Care Wales to produce a contact tracing application in response to the COVID 19 pandemic. A CRM known as Test, Trace, Protect (TTP) has been created to fulfil this need. DHCW currently provide the national Covid Test Trace and Protect (CovidTTP) service. This service is utilised and consumed by several Welsh NHS Organisations and external partners, these partners primarily being Local Authorities and Welsh Government to produce their own analysis and reporting
